Call for Performers

The Royal Shakespeare Company invite you to take part in our summer season in Stratford-upon-Avon and bring your performance of a play by Shakespeare or his contemporaries to The Dell, the RSC’s open air performance space. Now in its 7th year, The Dell saw some of our largest audiences to date last summer; over 6,000 people watched 36 performances by 20 theatre companies, schools, universities and community groups.

In keeping with the culturally diverse flavour of the World Shakespeare Festival that celebrates the world’s playwright, the RSC is keen to see a broad mixture of performers from different nationalities and backgrounds playing at The Dell this year.

The Dell offers great potential for groups to bring an already established piece of work, create something especially for the space or possibly as a try out venue for the Edinburgh Festival.
